Family Law Team - Scott Lytle
Scott Lytle was born in Burlington, Ontario. He attended Wilfrid Laurier University where he was granted an Honours Bachelor degree in Business Administration. After a career in Hospitality Management, Scott attended Dalhousie Law School. He graduated in 2005 and was granted a certificate in Business Law together with his Bachelor of Laws.
Following graduation, Scott articled at Boyne Clarke. He was called to the Bar in 2006 and thereafter established a general practice at Cragg Law. The focus of his practice was family law, real property transactions, wills and estates, and personal injury, but he also gained significant experience in civil and commercial litigation. Scott has represented clients in several levels of court throughout the province, and also engages in collaborative processes as a method of dispute resolution when appropriate.
At Boyne Clarke, Scott is a member of the Family Law Team where he continues to specialize in divorce proceedings, cohabitation agreements, adoptions, and variation matters.
Scott is actively involved in minor sports, coaching both hockey and soccer in Bedford. He is a board member for F.C. Bedford, a recreational soccer association. In addition, he acts as the player/coach of their Mens competitive team. He is volunteer counsel with the Halifax Refugee Clinic and a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
