Family Law and us

At Boyne Clarke we use a team approach, involving partners, associates, associated counsel, paralegals and legal assistants, as their participation is available, to facilitate the highest-quality, efficient and most cost-effective representation of our clients.

Our Family Law Practice Group has a combined total of over 50 years of family law experience, including extensive trial practice at all levels of court. We have paralegals and both junior and senior family law practitioners whose hourly rates are based on their respective years of experience. One of our senior family law practitioners is a trained collaborative family law lawyer. Our lawyers practice primarily in the area of family law and regularly attend continuing legal education programs to ensure they are current in the law.

We offer a full range of services, including but not limited to, the following:

  • Negotiation and preparation of Separation Agreements; Negotiation and preparation of Marriage Contracts;
  • Negotiation and preparation of Cohabitation Agreements;
  • Surrogacy;
  • Adoptions;
  • Divorce;

  • And all family law matters related to same-sex couples.

We have access to highly specialized computer programs to assist us in the analysis of the issues.

We maintain an inventory of complex documents which we adapt for individual cases. If we utilize such a document in your case you will only be charged for the time expended to tailor the document to meet your specific needs.

We have a Credit Manager who does not bill for his time. It is important to discuss all of your financial matters with him. We bill on a monthly basis so you have a clear understanding of what costs are being incurred.

Our role is to advise, provide legal counseling, prepare documents, negotiate, mediate and finally to litigate when necessary.

We recognize that at the time of separation, emotions run high. Our duty to you is to provide you with sound legal advice every step of the way.
